Are there any restrictions on the amount of luggage?
The free baggage allowance for baggage carried in the hold is 20 kg. You can also check in 2 pieces of baggage, provided that they do not weigh a total of more than 20 kg. When groups of people travel together, the maximum weight for each individual piece of baggage is 30 kg, but the total weight of all checked-in baggage must not exceed 20 kg per person. Infants (who are not entitled to a seat) have no free baggage or hand baggage allowance on departures up to and including 24 March 2007. You have a free baggage allowance of 5 kg for hand baggage (measurements: L 45 cm x W 35cm x H 20cm).
Children aged under 2 who have booked an infant fare are entitled to a free hold and hand baggage allowance. Long-term holidaymakers (28 days or more), TUI Gold Card holders and bluemiles Gold Card holders have a free baggage allowance of 30kg.

Can I take more luggage with me for a surcharge?
Excess baggage can be pre-booked at TUIfly in a range of weights: 5 kilos (€25), 10 kilos (€45) and 20 kilos (€80). A voucher must be presented at the check-in desk to confirm purchase. Only one such booking can be made per passenger, per flight segment; the charge is non-refundable.
A charge of EUR 7.00/GBP 5.00/SEK 65.00 per kilo is payable for all flights on excess baggage (i.e. baggage that you check over and above the allowed 20 kilos; this allowance is higher if you have pre-purchased an excess baggage voucher). No single piece of baggage may weigh more than 30 kilos.
