Jenže to by ty v kancelářích museli dělat svou práci.

Nize nejaka nova cisla vydana specialistou z IATA
Indeed, the North American (US and Canada) segment of the industry is the only one expected to make money in 2009 while collectively the world's airlines will lose $2.5 billion, according to IATA's mid-December financial forecast (see tables throughout). European and Asian carriers suffer the most, losing $1 billion and $1.1 billion respectively, as the decline in revenues from a slowing economy more than offsets industry fuel savings. "I think the industry is probably going to face the toughest two years that it's ever faced," says IATA Chief Economist Brian Pearce. "We're expecting very large falls in the volume of traffic: Passenger traffic down 3% next year, cargo down 5%. I think also that yields are likely to fall in this type of environment so we're looking for revenues falling 6.5%-7% next year and probably still a negative number in 2010 too."
"European airlines are confronted with a bigger crisis and mostly they have not taken the steps that the US airlines were forced into taking last summer." Seabury is forecasting that European carrier revenues will decline 4%-8% this year. However, the increasing stratification between the top tierAir France KLM, Lufthansa and to a lesser extent British Airwaysand the rest of the industry means that decline will not be shared equally. "For some it will be a minus 15 and some will be zero."

dell - CZALPA asi většinu věcí projednává na schůzích, OOPL často pošle mailovou anketu a z toho odvozuje, jaký postoj má hájit. Tak to bylo i tentokrát. I když, ono asi nebylo o čem hlasovat, protože kolektivní smlouva platí pro celý podnik a se změnami musí souhlasit všechny odborové organizace, celkem je jich tuším 9. No a už před začátkem celé akce OOPL byly 3 organizace z 9 proti, takže náš výsledek by nic neovlivnil.

145 clenu OOPL 98 neclenu
b) dalsi jednani s manegmentem a odlozeni navyseni mezd dle kolektivni smlouvy do ukonceni vyjednavani
94 clenu OOPL 54 neclenu

Finnair CEO Jukka Hienonen told ATWOnline at this week's oneworld meeting in Madrid that the airline does not have the flexibility to remain stable during the current market downturn. Finnair was €2.1 million ($2.7 million) in the black through the first nine months of 2008, but it does not expect a positive full-year result. Hienonen said he had "to be very shy about what I'm saying" ahead of the Thursday release, but he confirmed that "we will not be making an operational profit." Operating profit through the nine-month period was €8 million.
The carrier has announced a 9.5% reduction in its network and a range of layoffs, furloughs and personnel expense reductions aimed at maintaining financial health (ATWOnline, Jan. 16). Hienonen said the temporary pay cuts and bonus cancellations likely will be necessary. No fleet reductions are planned, and five A330-200s are scheduled to be delivered this year. Asked if a midsize carrier like AY can survive in the current market, he said airlines operating out of larger home markets have a distinct advantage. "Will there be three-plus-one airlines in Europe in the future? I'm guessing there will be more. But for carriers our size or even smaller, it is getting difficult. That's why we cannot get away from our strategy" of connecting Europe to East Asia.
